A safe, sensitive, evidence-based clinical therapy for resolving the impacts of trauma and attachment trauma in adults and youth.

Unlike common counselling approaches that work from the ‘top-down’ (i.e. CBT and other talk-based therapies), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a somatic (body-based) approach that works from the ‘bottom-up’. Are you tired of telling your story over and over again and not getting anywhere in terms of your day-to-day lived experience in your body and mind? When it comes to trauma and the toll anxiety and depression can take, clients often find that talk therapy and CBT has its limits for creating real, meaningful, lasting change. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a leading mindfulness-based approach, grounded in Interpersonal Neurobiology that offers the kind of internal shifts and relief you may be looking for, with minimal cognitive effort. Highly trained SP therapists meet you where you’re at with tools to create safety, build resources and strength to do the work you would like to do to heal. We work with you at the pace that is right for you towards achieving your goals. You don’t have to retell your story and it doesn’t have to get worse to get better. Begin here and freedom awaits.

Many spiritual traditions believe the body and soul are connected to—and even embodied in—the soles of the feet. The ancient healing traditions of China, India, and Egypt also recognized that the feet serve as mirrors for our overall wellbeing. Today, the American Podiatric Medical Association echoes this wisdom, stating “Such conditions as arthritis, diabetes, nerve, and circulatory disorders can show their initial symptoms in the feet—so foot ailments can be your first sign of more serious medical problems.”

Whether you have collapsed arches or simply feel sore and tired at the end of a long day, an ayurvedic foot massage will alleviates stress and fatigue, but activates the immune system, eases emotional imbalance, and balances all three doshas. By nurturing and connecting with your soles, you set a foundation for vibrant health of mind, body and soul.
